Health Concerns

Because of the fluid nature of these health concerns, the elders and Kenny are in contact daily, discussing, and if needed, adjusting, the plan for our work together. Communication is a key for us all to be “on the same page” moving forward.  This will be accomplished primarily by emails that will be sent out at least once a week, and more if needed. The primary information will be a part of the Halftime Report sent out each Wednesday; another communication source will be mentioned below.

Regular assemblies will continue to be suspended indefinitely until further notice, but we plan to use our live stream abilities in the following ways so that we can still “assemble”.  Please take note of these two opportunities: First, we will live stream a service each Sunday morning at 10, beginning next Sunday, March 22 and we are asking every member and any one else who cares to join us to be part of the broadcast. However, only Kenny, an elder or two, and those helping to air the live stream will be in the auditorium. Second, we will live stream a Wednesday evening class at 7. The Wednesday evening live stream will start this Wednesday, March 18th.

The following are different methods to watch our live stream.

If you will "follow" or subscribe to the Facebook Page or Youtube Channel via the mobile apps you can set up notifications so that you will be alerted when streaming begins. If you need any additional assistance, please contact us at

We are encouraging every member to watch and participate in the Sunday and Wednesday services.

The Sunday broadcast format will be as follows:

  1. Welcome, Prayer
  2. Sermon
  3. Lord’s Supper *
  4. Prayer
  5. Closing remarks by an elder, who will also use that opportunity to communicate information to the congregation.

Lord's Supper

We are asking each family/member to participate in the Lord’s Supper by having the emblems at your home. An elder will make Lord’s Supper remarks and offer a prayer to “bless the bread.”  We will then take a moment so all participants can “take, eat” and consider the body of Christ. Another prayer will be offered before taking the fruit of the vine. We are hoping all Christians watching will participate together.  While this format will not be what we are accustomed to and prefer, it will allow us to take the Supper together.

The Wednesday night broadcast format:

  1. Class at 7 will be live streamed.
  2. Kenny or an elder will be making any announcements that need to be communicated.

The elders have also decided to cancel the previously scheduled singing on Friday, April 17 and the young peoples’ study on Saturday, April 18. As of now, those are the only 2020 special events that have been cancelled.

Finally, please be assured that we will continue to act by using the very best judgment we have, with the Lord’s help. Your prayers are appreciated as we all work our way through uncharted waters.  Remember the inspired words of James, “…The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16b). We have much and many for which to be praying.
