Our Ministers

College View has always appreciated Gospel preachers who are true to God and His word. The church has been blessed with excellent preaching in its history, and we continue to value God's word and its faithful proclamation.

Mark White is the local minister for the College View church. Mark is a native of Athens, Alabama and has been preaching the Gospel since his college days. His first contact with the church at College View goes back to his enrollment as a student at the University of North Alabama. Since those days, Mark and his family have lived and preached in Alabama, Arkansas, and Texas. He and his wife, Beth, along with their three children, came to Florence in July, 1999 from the Fry Road church in Houston, Texas. Mark not only preaches and teaches at College View, but also maintains a schedule of six to eight Gospel meetings each year in other places around the country.

Drew Jones is the young preacher at College View. He is a native of Arlington, Texas and a 2006 graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBA in Marketing. Drew works closely with Mark White and the Elders as he develops his skills and talents to do the work of an evangelist. He is also available to preach for congregations in the area who may need a fill-in preacher. Drew is integrally involved with the work of the church, and is busy teaching and preaching.
